The original photograph this painting is based on was so striking that I couldn't get it out of my head. Although the subject has been simplified the impact has been retained. This painting has received a lot of very positive feedback which I am very proud of. The subject is a little different to my usual style, but I am enjoying going out of my comfort zone to experiment, and with such great results I was going to keep it. |

Things however, do change. One of the painting's admirers has made an offer which has been accepted. It is going to a good home where it will have pride of place in a main living area. You never know, I may attempt something similar in the future. |
