This painting is taken from a photo taken on the spur of the moment. Probably never intended as an artwork, but it has turned out to be one of those happy accidents. |

With some Photoshop work to change the colours and contrast, I was surprised how good this looked. Some creative cropping followed and I had a subject I was very keen to paint. |

Humans can be a challenge for me, especially using a medium I am still getting used to, such as acrylics, but challenges help you grow. They can also be fun and good for the old ego if they work out OK. |

This painting has received some very positive comments and I am also happy with it. I still have a lot to learn but I think I have made a good start! |
