Victoria has the benefit of many different types of environment. Within its borders are deserts, snow capped mountains, forests, rural farmland, wetlands, rivers, bays and ocean beaches. The areas around the Mornington Peninsula and Dandenong Ranges are my favourites for painting, although I sometimes get tempted away to other spots. |

With such a mild climate, artists have the luxury of being able to paint plein air all year round, providing the opportunity to capture the environment in all its colours and textures. |
